“It’s not as if I don’t have anything to read; there’s a tower of perfectly good unread books next to my bed, not to mention the shelves of books in the living room I’ve been meaning to reread. I find myself, maddeningly, hungry for the next one, as yet unknown. I no longer try to analyze this hunger; I capitulated long ago to the book lust that’s afflicted me most of my life.” -Lewis Buzbee, The Yellow-Lighted Bookshop
Finally, a place where I can keep an orderly reading wish list! I’m always making new reading lists on pieces of paper, but I always end up losing all the papers. (Oh bother.) I’ve also noticed that I’m constantly adding new books to my reading list. Every time I finish one book from my list, I seem to add two more in its place. Or I end up reading books that aren’t even on my list, which distracts me because I still end up adding more books to my list. I’m impossible. But that’s okay, since I love reading. Hehe.
The list will be updated periodically, so feel free to keep checking to see what new books have been put on the list (:
